Deer in the garden every morning this week..

Great Ashley Farm is a wonderful rural retreat and a haven for wildlife – take this morning for example, we woke to see deer grazing in the garden in amongst the 2.5 acres of trees planted 8 years ago there is an abundance of birds – all different breeds, there are wild ducks on the pond and moorhens and yet with 15 minutes you can be in the centre of the World Heritage City of Bath with it’s magnificent architecture and wonderful museum, the Roman Baths and the Thermae Spa !!!!   We are very fortunate, we have a little bit of something to offer everyone!!

 

Bath Rugby an unforgettable experience!!!!

 

A game at the Rec is an unforgettable experience – the players, the beat of the drums and the picturesque setting, all making Bath Rugby totally unique. So if you need accommodation for the match on 22 December 2012 Bath v Saracens do call us at Great Ashley Farm we can help you with rail times or point you to the best car parks kick off is 1315 hrs.

Each year, the Abbey Churchyard area – a magical setting in the shadow of Bath Abbey and next to the Roman Baths, right in the centre of the stunning Georgian city’s shopping district, is transformed into a Christmas shoppers’ haven – Bath Christmas Market.

Over 120 traditional wooden chalets full of everything you’ll need to prepare for the perfect Christmas will adorn the streets. If you are looking for something extra special to make your Christmas perfect, Bath Christmas Market is the place you’ll find it. All of the retailers sell unique, handcrafted items, many of which are made in the local area and the South West.
