Great Ashley Farm is in a fantastic location – The wonderful city of Bath is a twenty minute drive alternatively you can cycle along the canal or leave the car behind and jump on the train or bus. The Saxon town of Bradford-on-Avon less than 2 miles away with the Kennet and Avon canal running through it, its Tithe Barn, Saxon Church, lovely quaint shops, cobbled streets and great places to eat!

We have endless National Trust Properties, Great Chalfield Manor, The Courts at Holt and Lacock Abbey (famed for the filming of Pride and Prejudice) and Westwood Manor. We are very fortunate to be on the edge of The Cotswolds and in the opposite direction is Stonehenge, Salisbury, Longleat, Glastonbury and Wells with it’s magnificent Cathedral.

Once you’ve visited the Roman Bath, taken a city tour bus, visited No. 1 The Royal Crescent, why not venture out to Prior Park – The Beautiful National Trust Garden just on the fringes of Bath.
Beautiful and intimate 18th century landscape garden created by Bath entrepreneur Ralph Allen with advice from poet Alexander Pope and Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. Sweeping valley with magnificent views over the city of Bath. Walk across the famous Palladian Bridge, one of four in the world. Explore the woodland paths. Discover what wildlife lives in the beautiful haven. Or just relax and admire the view. A wonderful walk and an ideal picnic spot
