So, we have just returned from spending 3 nights at Great Ashley Farm. Helen is the best host anyone could wish to meet and her local knowledge is second to none. We stayed on the ground floor and the room was impeccably clean with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. A super king size bed awaits you with luxurious bedding to keep you warm, easy chairs to get comfy in, 100% cotton towels in the bathroom, full tea/coffee making facilities and a full English breakfast complemented with tea/coffee, fruit juice, cereals, granola, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Nothing was too much trouble for Helen and it has been absolute pleasure meeting her.
Plenty of local places to eat however we visited Ravello Italian on Sunday 11th Oct for my wives Birthday and the food was amazing. However, you must book for any restaurant that you plan to visit in Barford. A visit to Bath is a must and a 15 minute car journey will have you in the centre of Bath with plenty to see and do.
We will certainly be re booking with Helen to enable us another visit to Bath.
